Our New Place
Here you can see us relaxing in our new office after moving to Chandler. Mommy, take a memo....from now on there will be watermelon with all meals. Don't worry too much though. As you can see, Penner still knows how to make himself at home at Grandma's house.
Too much of a good thing?
After spending 9 months curled up with someone's but in your face, you'd think you'd know someone pretty well. You'd think the little things wouldn't bother you so much any more. Well you'd be wrong. OK I really love my brother, but at times...well at times he can be such a boy. I mean does he really need to trim his toe nails with his teeth? And if he steals my bottle one more time.....Mommy says we just need a little more space of our own. So tonight is our last night together in the same crib. We have a brand new crib that's all setup. I could move out tonight, but I don't really want to let go.
My brother and I spend A LOT of time together. I guess that's how it is being twins. We like to hang out together and watch all the silly things the adults do.
We like to play together. We go places together. Here you can see us visiting the zoo together for the first time.
But sometimes a girl just needs her space, even if I have to fight for it.

Something else we do
OK there is one other thing we do, we learn new tricks. We do this just to keep our mommy's day's interesting. We've learned to sit up, the better to watch where mommy puts all those things she doesn't want us to have. This is a picture of the very firdt time we both sat up at the same time.
We've learned to drink from a can, (I, Penner like drinking from any can, but my most favorite drink from a can is my mommies coke) and coincidentally how to get mommy to change our clothes if we don't like our outfit by dumping the drink down our fronts. We also learned to go shopping and ride in the cart (this is a picture of our first time sitting in a cart. Mommy loves Costco carts because they have two seats). But to be honest, while the cart was fun, it didn't go very fast, mommy kept stopping to put food and junk in the cart, while we thought it was only a ride.
As so I, Gabby, have started taking driving lessons from my brother Trevor. I wonder if he'll let me borrow this thing once I finish the Older Brother Driving Instruction Course?
It's what we do...
In April my Papa taught me the proper way to watch General Conference.
We've been getting a lot of questions lately about why we haven't been updating. We say we're busy, and everyone wants to know what we're doing. Well, we are the pirates who don't do anything, we just stay at home and lie around. And if you ask us if we do anything, we'll tell you...yes we power nap.

New Tricks
So you know how crazy life can get. Four kids, a cat, a TV running, what's a guy to do to get a little attention from Grandma. Well leave it to Penner to figure out how to become the center of attention again. This little trick of his got him a lot of attention for several hours. He says he saving standing up and walking for a really busy day.
Christmas Time
We had a lot of fun this Christmas as you can see by the pictures. We were pretty tired from waiting up for Santa and ended up sleeping through most of the day. But don't worry, while we didn't see Santa we're not giving up. Penner has decided he's going to stay up every night, just in case Santa drops by. I'm sure mommy will be very proud of his dedication and curiosity. He says's he'll do it every night for the next year if necessary.
So as promised here are some actual pictures of us at Disneyland. Everyone says this was for Trevor's Birthday, but we know it was really for us. To show how much we liked it we only slept through half of everything. So here's mommy showing us off to complete strangers again. Mommy we know twins are special, but we think it might take more than that to impress someone with a tail and fins. Grandma and Grandpa made sure we got a picture in front of the castle. We had a lot of fun there. We got to ride the carousel, Small World, Pirates of the Caribbean, and a lot of other rides. We really appreciate the ground breaking work our brother Trevor did when he went to Disneyland at two weeks old. We seemed positively old at two months old and got to do a lot of things because of it.
Sunday, January 20, 2008
Well since we last posted we've been a lot of places and done a lot of things. Here's Gabby in her blessing dress.
Then we headed off to California. Following family tradition we had to start at Disneyland as soon as possible. Here we are flying out for Trevor's birthday.
We'll post again soon with more pictures from California and Christmas.
Halloween, dressing up
Anyone who knows our Daddy, knows we wouldn't be missing Halloween, even as tiny as we are. Of course finding costumes this small was no easy task. Grandma made us some little hat's. I got a black kitty hat and Penner got a Jack-O-Lantern. We were all set to make due with that when Daddy made a great discovery, we already had a large costume collection just perfect for us. After all the Build-A-Bear, Teddy Bears don't really mind that we borrowed their clothes for a bit. Since Trevor wanted to be Shrek and Sabina wanted to be Fiona, we thought we'd keep to the theme. So I got my own Fiona dress (better than Sabina's even, don't tell her OK?) and Penner got to be Puss-In-Boots. Don't worry, he's not very good with the sword though.
Of course once Daddy knew we had a whole costume wardrobe.....well maybe we'd better just show you. We were very patient with him, mostly, but after 3 or 4 changes I pretty much let him know I'd had enough.
Daddy says he's really glad we got these pictures, since we've been growing so fast. We're still small, but not that small any more.
